The House

This charming stone house, recently renovated, combines the character of a traditional country home with modern comfort.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to six adults, making it ideal for families and groups of friends throughout the year.

On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen opens onto a cosy living room featuring a wood-burning stove, perfect for autumn and winter evenings. A bedroom with its own private shower room completes this level.

Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a separate toilet provide plenty of space and privacy for all guests.

Outside, the garden and the small woodland overlooking the house invite guests to relax, enjoy outdoor meals, and unwind in the heart of nature.

Particular attention has been paid to guests’ comfort and well-being: the double beds are fitted with premium Simmons mattresses, and the welcome amenities have been carefully selected for their quality and natural ingredients.

The Surroundings

At the heart of the Millevaches Plateau, the house enjoys an exceptional natural setting of forests, heathlands, meadows, and streams. Numerous trails can be accessed directly from the property, allowing guests to explore the surrounding landscapes on foot without needing to use a car.

Several remarkable attractions can be reached directly from the house, including the Ruins des Cars, the Moulin des Maisons, and the Longeyroux Peat Bog. Hiking, cycling, and nature enthusiasts will find an ideal playground in one of the most unspoilt and authentic regions of central France.

As night falls, the Millevaches Plateau reveals another of its treasures. Designated as an International Dark Sky Reserve, it boasts one of the purest and darkest skies in Western Europe. On clear nights, visitors can admire the Milky Way and thousands of stars under exceptional viewing conditions.
